Herb seeds for the Annual Anise or Aniseed produce a plant that will grow between 40-50 cm. high. It has very straight stalks and produces white flowers that are grouped together to make an umbrella shape. The seeds can be used in distilling and in pharmaceutical industries. At home and in our cooking, the Aniseed seeds are used to flavour many types of dessert, cakes and biscuits.

Sow the Aniseed seeds directly outside from March until May and the seeds will be ready to harvest from May onwards. When sowing, leave 15-20 cm between plants and 40-50 cm between rows.
