Tomato seeds for the Balcony Star produce a very productive tumbling variety of tomato that is quick growing with deep red fruits weighing 50 - 60g each. Well suited to growing in hanging baskets, tubs, containers or boxes.

The seeds can be sown under glass from February until April with germination taking between 8 - 15 days. The plant likes a sunny but sheltered position and wants a nutrient rich soil that will warm quickly and, like most tomatoes, wants plenty of water to get the most from the fruit. This photo was taken during the first week of June so you can see how productive the plant is and how quickly these have grown.

The Balcony Star is a Determinate/Bush/Compact (D) variety of tomato.
