Beetroot seeds for the Kugel produce a quick growing variety of beetroot that produces a fantasic deep red bulb measuring around 15cm across. The flesh has a good solid sweet taste and stores well over the winter. In addition to all of this the Kugel is pre-sown into special matting meaning that all you have to do is to prepare the soil as normal then cut the strips to the exact length required, lay on you soil and cover to a dept of 1cm. Couldn't be easier.

SOW: April - July direct to soil at a depth of 1cm.
QUANTITY: Each packet contains 6-meters of pre-sown strip
TRANSPLANT: Germination takes between 2-3 weeks ate 12-20C
