Marrowfat Pea seeds for the Blauwschokker will produce an old and traditional variety of Marrowfat Pea also known as a 'Grandmothers speciality'. This pea variety grows both purple flowers and 5-6 cm long pods. Marrowfat peas can be used cooked or steamed, dried or preserved in jars and are especially suitable for hearty, rustic dishes.

Sow outside from April until late June at a depth of 2cm in a sunny/semi shade position and likes a well draining soil.

SOW: April - June direct into your soil or under cover and transplant when 2 -3 cm high.
