Onion Borettana per Sottaceti is a very popular variety of onion due to its 'gourmet' taste. This Italian heirloom variety is traditionally pickled, but is also ideal for grilling when picked early when the bulb is young. Make the most of this fantastic variety and its firm, sweet flesh and very attractive yellow-bronze skin. Sow from January until March direct into your plot and harvest during the late summer.
