Brick Cleaning Acid - BHA-F

Acidic, water based brick, stone & paver cleaner which removes oil stains, general dirt and other staining from your exterior floor surfaces and restores the original colour. BHA-F is designed to give a good, clean surface prior to the application of Batimoss CR and a sealer if required.

For normal usage the area should firstly be swept to remove any loose growth and debris. Dilute BHA-F Brick & Stone Cleaner 1:5 (product : water) for heavy staining (or for pre-treatment of oil stained areas) or 1:10 for general cleaning. Apply to the area with a plastic watering can or bucket. Brush the surface to ensure the whole area is treated and left for 15-20 minutes (can be slightly longer in cold weather) before rinsing with a hosepipe or pressure washer. If the finished surface is slightly patchy then a second application, at a dilution of 1:10, will achieve an even finish.

This brick cleaning acid is also very effective at removing 'salt blooming' (white marking) from brickwork. Once the blooming has been removed and the area rinsed we advise coating the area with HydroSil to prevent both blooming and moss/algae returning.

BHA-F cleaning solution will cover approximately 20m2 per litre.

We recommend that once the surface has been cleaned that it is treated with Concentrated Moss & Algae Killer - Batimoss CR and sealed with either our Floor & Stone Sealer - Procover or HFR-F.
