Gherkin seeds for the Burr produce a fruit which is also known as the West Indian gherkin, although it originates from Africa. Popular in Brazil as it is used in a stew called Cozido. Vine produces a spiky fruit that can be eaten young, pickled or even dried and used for decoration.
