Impatiens Walleriana

Known as Impatiens (impatient in Latin) or Busy Lizzie (Bizzie Lizzie). A member of the Balsam family, it can be called "touch-me-not" as mature seedheads can explode when touched.

Growing thick and dense with continuous profuse small flowers. Treated as an annual but can be perennial in frost-free conditions. Easy to grow throughout the season and low maintenance so popular in gardens and in hanging baskets and containers. Grows in most soils and conditions, even in shade so good for north facing gardens.

Seeds are so much cheaper than plug plants!
