Cardoon seeds for the Bianco Gigante Inerme a Foglia Intera produce a variety of cardoon with a large rib and smooth leaves. Sow either directly or under cover during April and May. If transplanting then this should be done between 4 & 6 weeks after planting with harvesting from December until late February or even early March.
