Carrot seeds for the Chantenay Coeur Rouge produce a variety of carrot that has a huge conical root with red flesh and a very good quality taste. Can adapt to any soil type as long as it is sandy, mellowed, deep and stone free. If a second thinning is required then this should be undertaken 10-days after the first and to enhance the taste we recommend leaving the roots, once picked, on the soil to dry before being taken inside.
