Berlandiera lyrata & Heliotropium arborescens Here it is, the mixture to end all mixtures. Duel scents that go together like Nelson & Hamilton, Laurel & Hardy, Rhubarb & Custard and chocolate & vanilla. The two flower varieties are mixed and they really do smell like chocolate & vanilla. The chocolate smell comes from the yellow blooms which are not unlike small sunflowers and the vanilla from the beautiful contrasting purple heads.
Sow these seeds right through until the end of May and they will be in bloom until September and even early October. They will grow up to 30cm high and are great planted in borders and even pots around your patio. Remember that the smell is quite something so make the most of it and plant in areas where you visit such as around a bench or beside a path. |
