Onion seeds for the Colorada produce a gourmet Spanish onion variety, popular with chefs and originating from the hometown of Salvador Dali. Golden-red outer skin with purple tones and a dense purple flesh with a delicate, sweet flavour. Catalan people are known to replant the roots which grow into side shoots over the winter and can be grilled on a spring barbeque.

SOW: December - January direct to the plot or under cover.
