Once a common weed of cornfields but banished by chemicals and changes in crop growing cycles, the corn marigold's bright yellow daisy-like flowers and blue-green stalks and leaves are a colourful addition to the garden. As with other cornfield annuals this perky flower will grow best in disturbed soil in a sunny area. Sow in spring in cultivated ground with other cornfield annuals or use to fill in gaps in the border. It will also grow happily in a container. Flowering from June to August it will attract a host of small bees and bumblebees.
Each Greetings Card has a transparent resealable pot which keeps your seeds in the best possible condition. They contain seeds which transform into the flower on the front of the card.
