Cress (Lepidium sativum) Annual plant. Well known species for the production of seedling sprouts. The flavour is peppery, piquant. The leaves are added to salads, sandwiches and soups. In medicine it is used as a diuretic, general stimulant, and against hair loss. The seed sprouts within a week on a damp cloth. When planted, keep the soil cool and clean from weeds. Water regularly.
SOW: suitable for continuous sowing from early Spring to late Autumn outdoors. QUANTITY: 7-10 gr. of seed per sq. m.
