Ordinary tap water has elements, like chlorine, which are added in order to purify and enhance medical properties within the water that is supplied to your home. Chlorine is only one substance that is not particularly good for plants, especially flowers, as it is not naturally occurring. Many Horticulturists advise that all types of plants should be watered, if possible, with purified water otherwise many types of chemicals and minerals can accumulate in your soil possibly adversely affecting the soil balance and influencing the growth of plants. Pure distilled water can help to preserve the sensitive mineral balance of your soil

Distilled Water is water that has been turned into a vapour (which removes much of the impurities, minerals and germs) then condenses back into a liquid. Rain water is natural 'Distilled Water' so always use this when possible but you can top-up your supplies with our Distilled Water which is available in both 25-litres and 5-litres.
