Turnip seed for the Petrowski produce a vegetable that is a small variety of early turnip originally from the Teltow area in eastern Germany. Closely related to May turnips or Mairube. The flesh is tender but firm and a spicy, sweet taste. Prefers draining soil but is quite happy in nearly any soil type but not heavy clays.
