Herb French Lavender (also known as Spanish Lavender) is a very attractive and quite unusual variety which will produce interestingly shaped bracts that stand quite proud of the flower. Grown naturally in warmer Mediterranean countries the plant thrives in sandy, well draining soils. It does not like heavy soil. Sow under cover from March until May and will be in flower from June onwards.
