Herb Garlic Chives is a type of garlic has does not produce a bulb but has long, flat, thick garlic flavoured leaves. As with all types of garlic it is ideal for seasoning salads, sauces and many other dishes. The plant grows up to 50cm high and can be sown outside from March until August and likes a sunny but half shady position.
