Melon Hales Best Jumbo is a fragrant old heirloom melon with a salmon coloured flesh and a seed cavity much smaller than many other varieties of melon which means more flesh! Matures on spreading vines in the height of a hot summer. Can be cultivated in any climate. Resists drought and, most importantly, powdery mildew.

SOW: April - May direct into plot or under cover at a depth of 3-4 cm with 4-5 seeds per hole
