How to Place an OrderIt is very easy to order and we can accommodate most needs. Delivery is usually made within 3-5 working days if your goods are in stock and not a special order. The method of delivery is chosen according to your area and the weight of goods (see below).
New Customers : You can purchase products online by credit card at the secure checkout. You can also contact us by phone, email or fax to order products on a proforma basis, pay by credit card or to set up a 30 day credit account. Our details are on the contact us page.
Proforma : If you prefer, you can request a proforma invoice. Once you have received the proforma invoice from us, you will need to send a cheque (payable to SPCB UK Ltd) to the postal address given. Goods will be issued once the cheque has cleared. Alternatively you can pay by BACS or intra-account transfer, funds clearing prior to despatch of goods.
Setting up an account : If you are a registered company, you can set up a credit account by contacting us by phone, email. or fax. We will send you our terms and conditions as well as an account application form. We will be requiring your Personal Information and credit references.
Account Holders : Once you have an account, you can contact us by phone, email,. or fax with details of your enquiry or order. We will send you price and delivery information if necessary and will require a Purchase Order Number. Payment will be required prior to the end of your credit period as agreed by us (normally 30 days). Payment can be by credit card, cheque or by BACS as above (Proforma). |
DeliveryDespatch is usually made within 24 (working) hours of your order, provided that your selected items are in stock and ready for despatch. Delivery is made within 3 - 5 working days. Delivery fees are set according to the type of product ordered, weight and your delivery area.
As an example:
Biological Pest Control: Free delivery to the UK. As these are living organisms, despatches are made once per week by Royal Mail (orders placed by Monday are delivered usually by Friday or Saturday).
Garden Seeds and Gift Cards: £1.25 per order up to 50 items to any area in the UK. Thereafter, according to weight as below.
Moss Solutions and Equipment: These larger weighted items are costed according to weight and delivery area.
UK (England, Wales, Scotland South of Glasgow):
Up to 1 kg / litre = £5.82 inc VAT
Up to 2 kg / litre =£8.17 inc VAT
Up to 24 kg / litre = £9.99 inc VAT
Above = £14.69 inc VAT
UK (Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland) and Ireland:
Up to 1 kg / litre = £5.82 inc VAT
Up to 2 kg / litre = £8.17 inc VAT
Above = £29.38 inc VAT
