Lavender (Lavandula officinalis) Perennial plant, 70-80 cm high. The very sweet-smelling flowers are particularly used in perfumeries or for drying; the leaves are used to season meat. The plant has no special requirements but prefers light ground and normal watering.
SOW: February-March broadcast in a seedbed. QUANTITY: 1 gr. of seed per sq. m. TRANSPLANT: in Spring or Autumn at a distance of 40 cm. HARVEST: June to August (or later under cover). |
