This wonderful squash is used in Neapolitan cuisine for both its fruit and flower. The long, thin fruit has a smooth skin and intense orange hard and sweet pulp. Beautiful cylindrical fruit appreciated in the Mediterranean in soups and in special dishes - stuff, slice and fry, roast, saute... Famous for combining with pasta, pasta e cucozza, in a tasty slightly sweet dish. The flowers can also be fried or added to soup.

Sow the seeds directly into your plot during April and May with harvesting from July until October.
