Marjoram (Majorana Hortensis) Seeds

Sweet Marjoram - Perennial plant usually grown as an annual; 30-40 cm. high, round greyish-green leaves and small whitish flowers. Strong and very pleasant fragrance. Leaves are used to aromatize meat and vegetable dishes. The whole plant, dried when in flower, is used in distillery, perfumery and soap works. Has tonic effects on the oral cavity and also stimulant and catarrhal properties.

SOW: in a seedbed in Spring.
TRANSPLANT: April-May.
DISTANCE: 50cm between rows; 25cm between plants.
QUANTITY: 1gr. of seed per sq. m.
