Turnip seeds for the Martillo produce a turnip with a large, white, round root that grows between 15-20 cm in length. About one third of the root grows out of the soil thus making harvesting much easier than many other varieties of turnip.

SOW: March - September direct to soil around 2cm deep
QUANTITY: Each packet conatins around 6000 seeds
THINNING: 6-8 weeks
DISTANCE: about 20cm between rows and 15cm between plants
HARVEST: June - December
