Mini Baobab - Pachypodium rosulatum The Pachypodium rosulatum is also known as the Mini Baobab tree originates from Madagascar and it is now one of the most recognisable trees from the North Africa region. Given this natural area of growth it will not surprise you to know that it grows in full sunlight and a warm position. With age the Pachypodium rosulatum will develop many side-shoots similar to the way types of Cactus do.
The seed should be sown under glass and can be done so at any time of the year. It will need temperatures in the region of 15-25C to germinate and to grow into a healthy plant. It will grow to between 30-50cm high and will flower between March and May each year.
