Flowers for Container Growing Here is a fine selection of annual flowers all chosen as they are perfect for growing in pots, baskets or containers. Not just that but the seeds are sown into a special mat which makes planting a breeze. You can very easily position the seeds where you want them and you will get a beautiful mixture growing across the whole area.
To sow simply fill your container with damp soil, cut you mat to the shape required, cover with 1 - 2cm of soil, press gently and lightly water. If you are planting under cover to put out then wait until the last of the frosts have passed. Germination will take 10 - 15 days at a minimum temperature of 18C.
SOW: April- May, mat should be covered with 1-2cm of soil.
QUANTITY: Each mat measures 20cm x 10cm.
TRANSPLANT: Put outside once the last frosts have passed.

HARVEST: Flowers will be in bloom from July until the first heavy frosts
