Daucus carota
This Nantes variety is most versatile with good colour and top flavour. It can be used for the earliest covered sowings through to late sowings for overwintered crops under straw. High yields of bulky and strong roots. Stores well. Approx 112 days to maturity.
Pelleted seed creates a uniform shape and is easier to sow with optimum placement under most soil conditions.

SOW: January - July.
HARVEST: July - November (or until May if protected).

TIPS FOR USE
Sand or quickly germinating radishes can mark the rows. Onions will deter the carrot root fly.
