Tropaoelum nanum - Nasturtium Dwarf Mix As the name suggests this is a dwarf variety of nasturtium which will grow to around 35cm (1 foot) and ideal to fill a planted area, pot, balcony display or even to grow under bushes or trees. It has the most beautiful, very brightly coloured heads that range from dark orange through to yellow and all combinations inbetween. The dwarf nasturtium is an extreamly fast growing, annual variety with rounded almost kidney shaped, pale green leaves and flowers that measure around 5-6cm wide.
The seeds should be sown during March, April & May and the flowers will be in bloom right through until October or even early November. They do like sunshine so a bright position will get the most out of the nasturtium but we have used them to brighten a north facing wall and they look fantastic.
