Spring 2009 - Primary School Gardening Club

Spring 2009 - Primary School Gardening Club

We are very proud to have sponsored and established a new Gardening Club at St Marys Primary School near Lincoln. This new venture is enabling the children to learn many new skills and has proven so popular with over 140 applications for new membership that we have had to stagger the amount of children taking part at any one time! It may look as though the children are merely growing their own produce or selling surplus plants and vegetables, but behind the scenes is the development of so much more.... entreprenerial and practical skills, knowledge of the source of our food and recycling, the impact of our work on the environment ...
We will soon be adding a new page just for the Club!!
