Pastinaca sativa

An established and outstanding market leader, suited to a wide production period, from early until maincrop. High yields with shallow crowns and good weight distribution. Pelleted seed creates a uniform shape and is easier to sow with optimum placement under most soil conditions.

GROWING INFORMATION
SOW: February to May.
HARVEST: August to April.

TIPS FOR USE
Parsnips, like most roots, prefer poor soil and should be sown direct to produce long crops. It is great for taking up little space and for harvesting into winter to be picked as needed, as it likes frost. Parsnips can be roasted, used in mash or in soup.
The vegetable has a sweet taste, generally liked by children.
