Carrot seeds for the Parmex produce a carrot with small, round roots that have a fine taste and are very commonly used for chinese cooking and wraps. There shape does seem to be a little wasted if you are looking for a carrot to peel and boil so why not enjoy the shape and serve raw in a salad or boiled but left round.

The Parmex can be sown from March until June with harvesting from July onwards. The seeds normally take between 10 and 20 days to germinate.

SOW: March - June direct to field or under cover
QUANTITY: Each packet contains around 600 seeds
GERMINATION: Thinning after 4 - 6 weeks
DISTANCE: Sow in a continuous line at a depth of 1cm with rows 3-4cm apart.
HARVEST: July - September
