Passion Fruit This is a real treat for someone who wants to grow something just a little different. Likes to be in a sunny position with a temperature of between 18-22C so sowing under glass is probably preferred in the more northern climate. Like to be fertilized on a regular basis and should flower in the first year. Be careful not to cut the plant back during the flowring period and hand pollination can help set the fruit which can be harvested once they turn purple.
Can be sown all year round with flowering between May - August and the fruits ready between July & October. |
