Pepper seeds for the Ega Piquillo produce a rare, traditional Spanish chilli pepper. These variety of pepper are grown on a vigorous plant and are almost triangular in shape.

The Ega is traditionally used for Spanish piquillos where they are roasted for a sweet, spicy flavour before being deseeded and often stuffed with meat, seafood or cheese.

SOW: March - April under cover
QUANTITY: 20 seeds per pack
TRANSPLANT: Do not put outside if below 22C.
DISTANCE: Best grown in pots but if transplanting then allow around 60cm per plant.
HARVEST: June - September
