Onion seeds for the Pompei Bianca per Sottaceti produce a silver skinned onion with an excellent flesh and full flavour. It is a variety of onion that is best when used fresh rather than storing over winter. However it is an excellent onion for pickles. Sow the seeds from February to August direct into the soil and use young and fresh throughout the season.
