Pea seed for the Progress 9 produce what was originally an English pea. The Progress 9 is a really good, strong and reliable variety of Dwarf Pea. The plant will grow to around 0.5-meters in height (so not too much heavy construction required) and produces quite long, fat pods growing to around 100-120mm in length with each containg an average of 8 large peas which are quite dark in colour and have a good strong flavour.

The Progress can be sown early in the year to be harvested the same year or late to be harvested early the following year. The pods are ready to be picked from April onwards.

DISTANCE: Allow a minimum of 30cm between plants and 60cm between rows.
