A fine perennial plant that, once established , will provide a crop for years as the growing clump can be divided. However seeds mean that the plant can be grown as an annual if required and can be used to establish a crop. Also, as a plant taken from the parent is not always the same, commercial seeds are more reliable.

SOW: April in a seedbed and under cover.
QUANTITY: Each packet contains around 60 seeds.
TRANSPLANT: The following March - April.
DISTANCE: Allow 1-meter between rows and 0.6-meter between plants.
HARVEST: April/May onwards
