Herb Rosemary is an evergreen perennial shrub growing to approximately 1 meter in height, the highly aromatic leaves are a traditional flavouring for many cooked meats and sauces. It is related to both mint and sage and has short needle like leaves that are densely packed on long branches. Normally during the summer months the plant will produce pale blue or white flowers although, if in a sheltered position, these flowers can arrive at other times. Although hardy, rosemary can suffer during very cold periods so it prefers well-loose soils in a sheltered position.SOW: In Spring in pots or in a seed-bed. QUANTITY: 2.5 gr. of seed per sq. m. of seed-bed.TRANSPLANT: In Autumn at a distance of about 60 cm. between plants.
