Sage (Salvia officinalis) Perennial plant, 50-60 cm. high; purplish flowers. The plant has an intense perfume, very characteristic. In the kitchen it is used to aromatize many dishes. It also used in winemaking, distillery, perfumery and pharmacy industries.
SOW: April or September in a seed-bed. TRANSPLANT: in September or in Spring. DISTANCE: 40 cm between rows; 25-30 cm between plants. QUANTITY: 5-6 gr. of seed per sq. m. of seed-bed. |
