Radish Saxa 2 is an early, sweet variety of radish that produces a brilliant red, round fruit which will stay crisp over a long period. Delicious when served in salads. These are an ideal variety to be grown as a ‘catch’ crop between slower growing vegetables. Sow from March right through until September and harvest from March until November or even December.

When buying the Saxa 2 radish, you have a choice of either standard seed or specially coated 'jacket' seeds. These jacket seeds are only available for varieties that should be sown direct. The special neutral coating on each seed makes them more visible making the sowing of small seeds much easier and much more precise. This gives a reduction in the amount of seeds that you need to sow as correct placement will give you higher germination rates and less wastage.

Each packet of the jacket seeds contains an average of 100 seeds.
