Salsify ia a real treat!

Scorzo Bianca Mammouth is a variety of Salsify that is regarded as the best 'white' variety grown. The young root can be grated into salads but once the root is a little older then it is better cooked. Sow the Salsify from February until June and start harvesting from May onwards.

DISTANCE: about 10cm between plants and 30cm between rows.
