Artichoke seeds for the Talpiot artichoke produces a late season variety that originated in Israel. This strain of artichoke has been bred in Spain and grows a medium sized artichoke plant with leaves that have no spines and very attractive curved edges. The Talpiot artichoke produces very uniform spherical heads and grows to a height of between 1 - 2m.

SOW: broadcast or in rows from August to September.
QUANTITY: 4-5 seeds per hole in open field, approximately 50 seeds per packet.
TRANSPLANT: After 8 - 10 weeks
DISTANCE: Leave about 1 m. between plants.
HARVEST: April to June
