Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) Evergreen perennial plant, 25-30 cm. high, ideal for borders, with little ornamental flowers. It is very appreciated for its pleasant and strong aroma and it is used as component of sauces and seasonings. Does not require any particular care and prefers well-exposed ground. It may be multiplied by divison or by sprouting in Autumn.
SOW: March-April in a seed-bed. QUANTITY: 1.5 gr. of seed per sq. m. TRANSPLANT: May-June at a distance of 20 cm between plants. |
