Pea seeds for the Tirabeque is a variety of mangetout pea that produces a really well formed, slightly curved, sweet tasting pod. It loves to climb and also gives beautiful purple flowers. Ideally sown directly into the ground during the months of October to February the plant will climb so ensure you have each plant (or small groups) well staked. The pods will be ready to harvest from March onwards.

We supply some of our varieties of beans and peas in large 250gm boxes. The Tirabeque is one of them so you are on to a real winner with this as it is not just a really good variety of pea but you also get a lot of 'pea for your pound'.

When planting, each hole should be around 5cm deep and pop 2-3 seeds per hole.
