Lettuce seed for the Verde degli Ortolani produces a mid-early romaine lettuce with long oval pale green leaves. This variety produces a large compact cylindrical lettuce with very good bolting resistance, so good for the Summer. Also known as 'Paris Island'. Sow the seeds from March until July which allows harvesting until December.
