Known as Bears Garlic because in the wild this variety of garlic is loved by both bears and wild boar. It has perennial leaves which, together with the stems, are edible and normally used in salads or as a vegetable like normal garlic or leeks.

Loves to grow in damp and darker places. Sow from April and harvest through until September.
