Thymus serpyllum
A popular aromatic and spicy herb, particularly suitable as a soil covering plant for rock gardens and kitchen gardens. Fresh leaves are spicy and may be picked at any time of year. Leaves can also be dried and used in teas. Perennial and hardy.
It is an important nectar plant for bees and flowers are very pretty. Also the plant was often used in the past as a "thyme lawn".

Grows to 5 - 10 cm.
