Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) Perennial plant, 120-140 cm high, with an intense aroma. It is used for the preparation of Wermut and many other liqueurs. The dried leaves are used to prepare digestive teas. The plant prefers a fresh soil in a sunny position.
SOW: April-May in a seedbed. QUANTITY: 1 gr. of seed per sq. m. TRANSPLANT: in Autumn or the following Spring. DISTANCE: 50 cm between rows; 30 cm between plants. |
